Tower of London poppies

On a rather gloomy lunchtime I went to see the poppy display at the Tower of London

Birthday lunch

Caroline and Barry came to pick up the girls and we had a Birthday lunch as there are a few Birthdays coming up. We mafe a two tier cake selection of mini cupcakes we bought in Lola's cupcakes in Selfridges.

Weekend with Frankie and Scarley

Trip over Valentine's Park

We took a trip over Valentine's Park with Frankie and Scarley to have a coffee and some lunch in the Gardener's Cottage cafe, by Valentine's mansion. Stopping off on the way there and back to feed the squirrels as usual.

Crazy Golf!

On Sunday, we went over to the new Moby Dick crazy golf with the girls, which was good fun (despite quite a long queue to get on)...sadly nobody got a hole in one! Scarlet was the closest when one of her first shots rolled across the hole, but was going too fast to fall in.

Trip up to London with Frankie and Scarley

We had Frankie and Scarley staying with us for the weekend. On Saturday we took a trip up town to go shopping with the girls. We walked down Oxford Street, passing a demonstation outside McDonald's, before having coffee and cupcakes in Lola's at Selfridges.

I spotted this cheeky squirrel taking advantage of the peanuts in our bird feeder!

Siv makes the local paper in Norway

Siv was featured in her Local newspaper, The Romsdals Budstikke, in Norway today, a short interview done in the street while we were back there recently, regarding the upcoming NORDSJØFESTIVALEN 2014 (North Sea festival).

Week in Fræna

We're just back from a week with Siv's Mum and brother in Fræna, spending time catching up with friends as well. We went out to the new tourist centre at Atlanterhavsveien, and onto the old church at Kvernes with its distinctive decorations on one day, while we helped Eva pick a bucket of redcurrents as well from Siv's Mum's garden.
