Trip to Barcelona with Siw, Olav and family

We had a trip to Barcelona to celebrate Siw and Olav's 30th Wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Hotel Espanya, which was a very nice hotel in a great location We tried to take in most of the usual sights, Parc Guell, the beach, Sagrada familia, Monjuic, Poble Espaynol etc As well as having a great Saturday night meal at the Restaurante Santa Maria del Mar, which was very enjoyable with some seriously large Gin and Tonics and cocktails!

On the last night we were trying to find somewhere to eat, and by chance came across Via Margutta, a rather eccentric Italian restaurant which was good fun!

June's memorial plaque

Mum and Dad took a trip recently to St Paul's Church in Covent Garden to see the memorial plaque for June on a bench in the church grounds. the plaque is next to the one June had installed for David after he died in 1982.

Trip to Ely

We took a trip to Ely to see Caroline and the girls, Scarley and I went on a hunt for wildlife photos to take in the garden!

Markus' Confirmation

We were in Oslo for Markus' confirmation this weekend. The service was at the rather funky Tonsen church, followed by some food at Miklegard golf club.
