Visit by Terje, May Britt and Selia

Terje, May Britt and Selia came to see us, and we were able to sit outsidei in the sunshine chatting.

After a rain shower today, we had an impressive double rainbow appear.

Hail to the King!!

We had a coronation today for Onkel, the Cognac King (or Konjakk Kongen in Norwegian). the good weather continued, allowing us all to sit outside for a barbecue.

Its what all the trendy people are wearing this season!

No wine went to waste!

Trip up to Varden

We took a trip up to Varden, the high spot overlooking Molde to take in the dramatic views.

Trip to Malin's Cafe

We had coffee and waffles at Malin's cafe up by the Romsdal Museum today, sitting outside in the sun.

Dinner at Seilet

We took a trip downtown to the Seilet hotel (The Sail) for dinner. We first went to see Onkel in his room for a few pre-dinner drinks, before the dinner itself. Most of us went for the excellent buffet, before heading up to the bar at the top of the hotel to take in the impressive view as the sun went down.

Goodbye Suzie

We went to The Slug and Lettuce in South Woodford to say goodbye to Suzie from Zumba tonight, as she's off to a new life in Wales with her boyfriend and teaching Rock Choir.

Taking the girls back to Ely

We took the girls back to Caroline's on Sunday, and had a very nice lunch, followed by a sit out in the garden, where Justin and Daisy were relaxing due to the heat...Justin especially!!

Birthday lunch

We had a lunch at Don Pietro with the family to celebrate my birthday. It was a quiet time of the day, so we had the whole place to ourselves for a while. A very nice relaxed atmosphere, and good air conditioning with the hot weather outside. Afterwards, we all came back to the house and sat outside until into the evening.
