Trip to May Britt, Terje and Selia

We took a trip onto town to see May Britt, Terje and Selia for lunch, Synnøve and Ole Martin also popped in while we were there.

Walk on the beach at Farstadstranda

Eva took us out to Farstadstranda beach, for a walk to Nordneset. Starting off on the very nice beach, we walked out to the lighthouse and beyond. We even passed the rusted remains of an old second world war seamine that had exploded when it hit land many years ago.

Xmas day brunch

We had Eva and Anton Inge over for a lunchtime brunch today, with a good selection of meat fish and other food to enjoy.

Xmas dinner

As usual in Norway, the main Xmas dinner is on the 24th, and again as usual we had ribbe and all the trimmings.

Xmas celebrations at Marie's

We went to see Marie and family for a few drinks to celebrate Xmas....and of course as its the 23rd, we got to see Freddie Frinton!

This year's Xmas tree

This year's Xmas tree is up, a very nice one this year, and didn't need any trimming, as it was the right size and shape.

Blockheads

A group of us met up in The Camden Eye for food and drink before The Blockheads gig at the Camden Jazz Cafe. A lot of fun, posing with the selection of strange albums on the shelves, and a great gig. Some people stopped off at the Bavarian Beerhouse on the way home (it was already late!), not a good idea...

Night out at The Lahore

A group of us went to The Lahore One in Commercial Road. A very good night out, and what else do you have with a hot curry, except Chateauneuf du Pape? I walked back past Siege House, obviously there due to the Siege of Sydney Street.

Trevor's Xmas card 2013

Its that time of year again for Trevor's annual Bing-related Xmas card....this year its an unknown Andy Warhol print of Bing....

Xmas Carol Concert in Ely Cathedral

We travelled up to Ely for an Xmas Carol concert by the choir of The King's School. A very festive atmosphere in the church, with lots of  well-known Carols. Afterwards we went for a drink and a snack in Peacocks, where the girls had the hot chocolate with 'the works'. Back at home we had a very nice dinner with Caroline's friend Phil.

Christmas comes to Little Norway...Today we put up our Xmas decorations, and I managed to create this twinkling GIF of the Xmas tree.

Paul and Anne's Xmas party

We went over to Paul and Anne's with Fi, Grae, Bernie and Roger (and all the kids) for a pre-Xmas get-together. A fun evening with lots of very nice food, as well as some silly post-Strictly dancing to seasonal songs.
