On the birth of their new daughter Carolyn, to join siblings Anna Elizabeth and Brian.

Last day holiday visits...

As our holiday comes to an end, we tried today to catch up with some people before we go. First thing we went to see May-Britt, Terje, Selia and Nusse (their cat) for lunch....

...Then it was onto Tornes to see Marina, Magne, Benjamin and Dennis....the boys were in their usual high spirits!

Lots of visitors!

On Wednesday, the weather was nice enough to sit outside (even if it did get a bit chilly later). Laila, Anders and Lisa arrived first (without Grid), then Marina came over, and finally Maria and Arn Ivar came along for a while, as they were en route to their summer cottage for a short break.

Day trip to Kristiansund

On Monday we had to take a trip to Kristiansund. To get there we hadto go through the over 5km long Atlanterhavstunnelen, which is an impressive piece of engineering....though expensive to use! On the way back, we stopped off for a while on the Atlanterhavsveien.

Week in Fræna

We've been visiting Siv's Mum and Brother this week, and despite the less than good weather that Norway has had this year, we've been quite lucky. With very little rain, we've been able to stain the decking, and do some bits in the garden. There was even some time to relax in the sun in our new Hammock.

PJ's Barbecue

PJ had a barbecue on Saturday, so that everyone could get together to see Mill, Katy and the boys while they are over. Below are a selection of the photos, the rest are here:

Meet up at The Guinea

With Mill and Katy making their first visit to London in a couple of years, were organising a few get-togethers. Tonight, we all met up at The Guinea pub in Mayfair. It was a very good turn out for a Monday night, and the good weather meant we could stay outside all evening. People arrived at different times, with Lev coming straight from the airport after a flight back from Munich.

Everyone liked my new hat!

We even had the ex-Mr. Liza Minelli sitting at Greig's next door to us, David Gest.
