Anton Inge visiting - Family dinner for Siv's Birthday

After we got back from Westcliff, we just had enough time to prepare dinner for the rest of the family to celebrate Siv's Birthday last week.

Sunday morning we had glorious weather, so we all went for a walk down to the seafront at Westcliff, and then onto the beach and out along the cockle road. Lovely weather for late September, we even had ice creams!

We had Anton Inge staying with us for the weekend. On Saturday night he came along with us down to Westcliff to see Fi, Grae, Anne, Paul and the boys.

Trudie popped up on an old episode of Bullseye as we were flicking through the channels!

On Saturday night, we all went out to Fratelli's restaurant, where Leif, Siv and Markus all got special desserts for their upcoming Birthdays.

Weekend in Oslo - At home with the family

We spent the weekend in Oslo, to celebrate some of Siv's family's Birthdays. We stayed with Cathrine, Ståle, Hedda and their new cat Vesla.

Look who we had visiting us today, its Ricky B. from Philadelphia PA.! Over here for a week's work he came out to see us, and Mum and Dad came over to say Hi as well. Even the Eagels and Phillies did us proud with good wins!

The sheds have arrived!

Well, the new shed and the 'Summer House' further down the garden. They're both pretty sturdy, so will hopefully give us a good few years of service!

Now here's something you don't see every day....

....well at least not in Ilford! Didn't find out if they talked like Little Plum though!
