Siv and I spent the Thanksgiving weekend up in Kirton with Karin, James and the kids. On Friday night James cooked a traditional Thanksgiving dinner (albeit a day late!) with all the trimmings.
Paul couldn't make the West Ham game on Saturday (lucky him), so I went with Grae and Ironbeard. One of the linesmen was someone Grae works with, luckily he didn't have to make any controversial decisions.
While I was there, Siv headed down to Westcliff to meet up with Fi and Harvey. After the game, Grae and I headed down to Westcliff and we all had a very enjoyable night togrther, eating, drinking and playing Guitar Hero!
On Sunday, before Siv and I came home, we went for a bit of a walk around the grounds at Ashdown Park. Mike Rufian managed to capture this photo of Deer in the grounds.
It was the annual DnBNOR Dinner Dance this weekend. It was held at Ashdown Park this year and we all had a good time. The music was provided by a band who did Sets in 70's, 80's and 90's gear, and playing appropriate music.
Its the 5th of November again, Guy Fawkes night, so Siv and I got free tickets to the firework display at Fords Sports and Social club over the back. Pretty chilly over there, but good fun.
Here's the first photos of their new arrival. Here's the notes from Jeanine:
"Erich and I are pleased to announce the birth of our son, Brian Robert Weichelt. He was born on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11:25am. He weighed 7lbs 6oz. and was 21.5 inches long! He is happy and healthy. Anna is adjusting well and loves playing with his feet! Here are some pictures from his first few days!"
