Day out at Southwark Park for Norwegian National Day Celebrations

We went to Southwark Park to take part in the celebrations for Norwegian National Day. It was a good day out with good weather, we took part in the 'train' walk around the park as well as having hot dogs and waffles while listening to the various music entertainment on the bandstand. Walk from Havering Country Park to Hainault Forest Country Park

We took a bus down to Matalan in Romford, and from there took the 294/365 route up to Havering Park. From there we did a long walk though the park, passing the redwood trees, and eventually making our way through to Hainault Forest Country Park where we stopped for lunch at the Half Way Hut on the golf course, then carrying onto the cafe where we had a muffin and a coffee before heading home.

 

Trip to Wex camera and a walk back through East London

I took a trip into London to drop off some lenses for sale at WEX Camera, then headed into London, passing the old DNB offices, before heading back East, passing through Stepney City Farm for a look at the animals.

 

Bluebells in Wanstead Park

We took a train to Manor Park and had a walk back to Wanstead Park for a coffee and cake before walking into Chalet wood to see the famous bluebells.

 

Easter in Stamford

A group of us went away for Easter, staying at The Old Bank in Stamford. a fun weekend away, with some very nice weather on Easter Sunday for a visit to Burghley House. A few photos are below, the rest are here:
